The Association for Maritime Law Research (LexMaris), in cooperation with Marmaris Municipality and Martı Hotels & Marina, organized a collaboration event with the Ambassadors of Latin American countries in Ankara. The event took place in Marmaris between 18–21 July. The Ambassador of Costa Rica, Gustavo Campos Fallas; the Ambassador of Guatemala, Eduardo Hernandez Recinos; the Ambassador of Mexico, Jose Luis Martinez y Hernandez; the Ambassador of Panama, Karina Arias Fonseca; and the Ambassador of Venezuela, Freddy Eduardo Molina Gutierrez attended the event as guests. Within the scope of the gathering, the diplomatic delegations visited the historical and natural landmarks of Marmaris and were informed about its cultural and touristic potential. At the event, the President of the Association for Maritime Law Research, Prof. Dr. Hakan Karan, delivered a presentation on the Association’s objectives and activities and engaged in scientific cooperation dialogues. Members of the Association for Maritime Law Research also participated in the event.
